Right now I am thinking a lot about the blog, and Right now I am thinking a lot about the blog, and about how I've found it hard to write this year. Do people want to hear it during a pandemic? what do I write about? what is important enough? how do I make a difference in the ever worsening prevalence of #eatingdisorders.

I've been thinking about how I can share my knowledge, and wondering what is really important to people?

I am quietly preparing to be posting again. on MHB and elsewhere. I would love to get a few people together as a kind of focus group to discuss what you want from me next? what do you want to hear? what matters to you?

If you want to help message me here or email me.

I don't know about you but I think the spring seem I don't know about you but I think the spring seems to bring energy. The shorter days are starting to stretch out just a little bit. Spring bulbs are preparing to flower. Life is going on.

It's hard to think its been a year since we started to hear about #COVID19 and at times it is hard to imagine when or how life will go on.... I do get it.... but you still have choices. You can choose what media you scroll through, how much time you sit in front of the TV, whether or not you go get some #freshair and what you do with your days.

What will you choose to do today?

This evening I am supporting @beat.eating.disorder This evening I am supporting @beat.eating.disorders by participating in a Solace peer support group. These groups are for anyone who is supporting someone with an eating disorder (a parent, partner, sibling etc) and are led by one of beats facilitators. Sometimes ambassadors (thats me) partake to share out knowledge, experience and support.

I always encourage carers to access support and think it is especially important during lockdown when people are feeling more alone than ever.

I am set up, and ready to go. However, I seem to have had my desk taken over by my very cute dog Tilly. I hope she is on her best behaviour.
