17 Apr I’ve been nominated for an award
If you follow me on social media you might already be aware that I was recently nominated for a National Diversity Award (NDA)! The NDAs are all about recognising excellence in achievement and especially among individuals who inspire others in their work, community and beyond.
The prestigious awards hold an annual ceremony (current epidemic allowing) where positive role models from categories such as age, disability and LGBT are all celebrated.
I have personally been nominated for the award ‘Entrepreneur of Excellence’ – I still have no idea who made the initial nomination, but I feel hugely honoured and would like to thank them, whoever they may be.
There are many MANY wonderful, inspiring, and of course diverse individuals already nominated for the awards and it is therefore just humbling to be nominated. I don’t want to just ask my readers to ‘vote for me’ I would far rather you head over to the nominee list and consider who you think really deserves your vote…. However, I do immensely appreciate every nomination/vote that I receive.
Please be aware when you support someone’s nomination it asks for a little comment about why you are voting for them – if you vote for me I am able to see the comment that you leave and have already read some very touching statements, so again THANK YOU!
